Meeting with Thames Water Wed 16th

Greetings all! Well, the campaign is really rolling now and we want to thank neighbours and local businesses for all the surveys and petition signatures, and our councillors, the local press, Karen Buck (Labour), Joanne Cash (Conservative) and Murad Quereshi (London Assembly) for their support. Between us we are getting there!

Tomorrow MaidaFloodAction and Westminster Council meets with Thames Water at City Hall. We will be presenting the MFA survey data and petition signatures, explaining the experiences of residents in dealing with Thames Water re recent floods and making suggestions for improving both data gathering and communications with residents who have suffered the trauma, inconvenience and costs associated with sewage flooding.

Most important of all, we will all be asking Thames
Water what they plan to do to prevent future flooding
- and WHEN.

We are very positive about this meeting; since the Maida Vale Are Forum on 11th November, Thames Water has demonstrated a very open approach to the campaign and we anticipate a positive outcome.

Next update soon after the meeting!
